Bishop James’ pilgrimage diaries

Our new Bishop of Plymouth, The Rt. Rev'd James Grier, began the first week of his new ministry on pilgrimage from Exeter to Plymouth.

Bishop James walked over 66 miles in 6 days, praying for the land, towns, villages and the amazing people that reside in this beautiful part of South Devon.

Day 1 – Sunday 2nd October – Exeter to Chudleigh

Day 2 – Monday 3rd October – Chudleigh to Bickington

Day 3 – Tuesday 4th October – Ashburton to South Brent

Day 4 – Wednesday 5th October – South Brent to Ermington

Day 5 – Thursday 6th October – Ermington to Newton Ferrers

Day 6 – Friday 7th October – Noss Mayo to Plymouth
